In order to understand how to spread Arabic, we need to delve deeper into difference between  Mother Tongue Acquisition & Second or Foreign Language Learning Processes.

No, we did not learn our mother tongue but acquired it from society around us. We did not ask for books to learn it or went to any school to learn it to be able to communicate with our parents. We did not have to try too hard as our Mother Tongue language was spoken by our parents, neighbors, or people around us. We listened to the spoken language and understood its context. Our vocabulary and sense of Grammar naturally increased day by day and we hardly knew when exactly we became proficient in that language. This shows that if the language is alive in society around a person, it becomes easier for a person to master it. In case of Arabic, we may have to create Arabic Friendly Artificial Environment around us through Print & Electronic Media to make learning easier. This technique is also known as Language Immersion.

This is somewhat challenging but not impossible if we understand if we focus on success of English in its spread in Non-English world. Today, there are more non-native English speakers of English than Native English speakers and this shows that the same can be possible in case of Arabic too if we can understand how English spreads in Non-Native Regions. We have to implement same principles for Arabic too. The spread of English becomes easier due to its use by print & electronic media, business world using it in their marketing such as on product, advertisement hoardings etc, and even academic world providing education in English. Now same thing can be done  for Arabic to provide exposure of Arabic and we can see its result in the long run. For this, we dont need to reverse the process and oppose wherever English is used but we can have bi-lingual approach wherever possible such as Arabic as well as English on product, use of Arabic Comics etc. We will discuss this issue in details in separate section.

[2] For Teens & Adult: Arabic Magazine, Arabic Novels, Arabic Digital Dictionary, Arabic Movies, Arabic Programs on TV, Arabic Websites

Further social exposure can be made possible in case Arabic is used in following things such as:
[1] Arabic Software Interface in Computer, Cellphone etc.
[2] Arabic in Advertisement, Hoarding, Product Information etc.
[3] Arabic in subtitle of movies or Arabic Dubbed Movies etc.


Note: For Muslims, it is necessary to ensure that content which is used to teach Arabic should not be unislamic as in case of movie.
